Privacy Policy

Oppverse AI ("Oppverse AI", "we", "us") is an opportunity intelligence platform that helps people find jobs, scholarships, fellowships, grants and other opportunities that fit their profile. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at oppverseai@gmail.com.

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

• Your full name
• Your email address
• The opportunity areas you select, such as scholarships or jobs
• Which button on the page you used to join, and the date and time you joined

Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.

• To add you to the waitlist and tell you when your early access spot is ready
• To send you updates about Oppverse AI and its launch
• To understand which opportunities people want most, so we can build the right features first
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse

We will never sell your personal information, and we will not use it for anything unrelated to Oppverse AI.

We process your information because you choose to give it to us and ask to join the waitlist (consent), and because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving the service. We do this in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, where they apply, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.

We only share your information with trusted service providers who help us run Oppverse AI and who may only use it on our instructions:

• Supabase, which stores the waitlist database
• Vercel, which hosts this website
• An email provider, when we send you waitlist updates

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Our providers may store and process your information on servers outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we rely on providers that apply recognised safeguards to protect personal information.

We keep your waitlist information until Oppverse AI launches and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. If you create a full Oppverse AI account, your account will be covered by the privacy policy in place at that time.

You can ask us at any time to:

• Give you a copy of the information we hold about you
• Correct information that is wrong
• Delete your information and remove you from the waitlist
• Stop sending you emails

Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. For any other request, email oppverseai@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or your local data protection authority.

Your information is stored in a database that cannot be read from the public website. Only the server that handles waitlist signups can write to it, and access is restricted to our team.

The waitlist is intended for people aged 16 and over. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as Oppverse AI grows. When we make important changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know by email.
